Could you sue God?

I was reading a Christian magazine and it had an article in it about a judge in Nebraska throwing out a lawsuit against God because He can't be served due to unlisted address. Isn't this frivolous to sue God? What does he expect out of this?

I understand he did it to prove that you can have frivolous lawsuits until the courts says it is so. It is just wasting your money. It was over an issue that you were seriously passionate about and there's some logic in it... go for it.

  1. I've heard about this before... read about it online or something. The guy has a point that if God is omnipotent and omniscient then regardless of whether or not he was served papers he would be aware of the case against him and would be present in the court room when the case was argued. It certainly is frivolous, but also amusing.
